நீலகண்டம் - தூயன்

நண்பர் எழுத்தாளர் தூயன் நீலகண்டம் வாசித்து அவருடைய கருத்தை கடிதமாக எழுதி இருந்தார். நன்றி தூயன். 

Dear suneel,

 I finished ' Neelakandam'. Very exciting started reading but  was disappointed. I never thought that you could have written. Lot of flaws... Mythical narratives and contemporary plot didn't mingle with any point.  Stereotype characters...My only quibble with this work is that before publishing you should have given a discerning readers or at least a good editor who could have turned this into a sharp and crisp..i was left wondering many places , is this written by suneel who made me exciting and engaging his previous Stories.

You bring together fantasy, myths, history, reality along with main plot that was good idea. But doesn't metamorphose in certain points. For example, vikram-vedala myth story, i thought, it would be bound or changed the whole story.but not.

One thing i emphasis that you don't believe such persons who   have been saying positive feedback about this work. Really it has lots of flaw. If they have anything useful to hone , they must criticize. If i could read it's first draft, would have been saying nuances and subtle elements.

Ok don't misunderstand me.  I hope suneel a finely grated sence of narrator will give excellent text future..

அன்புள்ள தூயன்,

வாசித்ததற்கும் அது குறித்து எழுதியதற்கும் நன்றி. இதில் தயங்கவோ கோபப்படவோ புரிந்துகொள்ளாமல் போகவோ எதுவும் இல்லை. அதை தாண்டிய நன்னம்பிக்கையும் நட்பும் நமக்குள் உண்டு. இது ஒரு ஆரோக்கியமான சூழல். நான் உங்கள் விமர்சனங்களையும் பார்வைகளையும் மதிக்கிறேன். என்னைப் பொறுத்தவரை இந்த படைப்பு இப்படி உருக்கொள்ள அதற்கான நியாயங்கள் உள்ளன என்றே நம்புகிறேன். அவ்வகையில் என் பங்கை இயன்றவரை உண்மையாக செய்திருக்கிறேன் என்பதில் எனக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியும் நிறைவும் உண்டு. மேற்கொண்டு நன்றாக எழுதியிருக்கலாமா என்றால் எழுதியிருக்கலாம், இதில் சில பிழைகள் உள்ளனவா என்றால் இருக்கக்கூடும். எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை. இந்த நாவலை எவ்வகையிலும் நான் நியாயம் செய்யப்போவதில்லை. ஏனெனில் அது இப்போது முடிந்து போன ஒன்று. என்னிலிருந்து வெளிவந்துவிட்டது. அதற்கான விதியை அது தேரட்டும். உங்கள் மீது எனக்கிருக்கும் நட்பும் நம்பிக்கையையும் போலவே இந்நாவலின் முதல் வரைவுகளை வாசித்த நண்பர்களின் மீதும் உண்டு. ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் ஒவ்வொருவகையான எதிர்பார்ப்புகள், வாசிப்பு பின்புலன்கள். இலக்கியத்தின் மீது அவர்களுக்கு இருக்கும் ஈடுபாடும் அக்கறையும் ஐயத்திற்கு அப்பாற்பட்டது. எழுத்தாளராக அவர்களை சார்ந்து இயங்க முடியாது. நாவலுக்கான பொறுப்பை அவர்கள் மீது சுமத்த முடியாது. தொடர்ந்து எழுதி, கண்டடைந்து, கடக்க வேண்டியது தான் நம் பணி.
